Announcing our exciting opportunity for Galen students, family and friends!
Galen's VET Building and Construction students have commenced a new class project that is designed for our community.
They’re constructing a Galen Scoreboard for cricket, football and soccer and will make the oval a much more attractive, inviting space for these activities.
The scoreboard is located on the edge of the oval near the drop off zone.
You may have seen the temporary fencing in that space already set-up, with poles, flooring and part of the screen already appearing.
To make the project cost-neutral to Galen, we are repurposing items unused from other school projects. And we are seeking the support of both local businesses and individuals/families to sponsor the rear of the scoreboard. This section faces the busy drop-off zone, is next to the footpath and visible to both cars and pedestrians.
The prominent top half of the scoreboard is reserved for local businesses. If you would like to purchase a space for your business name or logo shown for a three year period, please contact Simon.Burns@galen.vic.edu.au to discuss pricing and availability.
We want to commemorate the building of the scoreboard by also offering the opportunity to students, families, alumni, staff and friends of Galen Catholic College to support the project by having your name permanently recorded on the scoreboard. This will be on the lower half of the scoreboard.
As space is limited, we have had to cap the available numbers to 150. The cost is $100 per name.
This link is only for individual or family sponsors.
Only "First Name Last Name" or “The “Last Name Family" can be accepted due to limited space.
This is done on a first come, first served basis so get on board now!
